Meet Our 2022 Women's History Honorees & Presenters
Our 2022 Annual Women's History Event was held in the landmarked General Society Library located in Manhattan at 20 W. 44th Street on March 31, 2022. Almost a hundred people showed up in person to help us honor: NYC Council Speaker Adrienne Adams; Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney; Author of Manhattan Sideways Betsy Bober Polivy; Associate Producer of WICKED Lisa Leguillou; NYS Director of Operations Kathryn Garcia; VP of the United Federation of Teachers Karen Allford; co founder of Comrie Enterprises LLC Diana Williams and Director of Executive Operations for NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli Yolanda Robinson. Presenters included; Chief Advisor to Mayor Eric Adams, Ingrid Lewis Martin; NYC Veterans Affairs Commissioner James Hendon. VP of JP Morgan Chase Jumoke Fagbayi-Butts and NYC Council Members Julie Menin, Erik Bottcher and Gale Brewer.
The event was co hosted by Chamber CEO, Mark Jaffe and the legendary WCBS News Reporter Jane Tillman Irving. This reception was catered by Kellari Taverna, Tudor City Steakhouse and Hour Glass Bistro.
