Friday, September 22, 2023, The Greater NY Chamber hosted its Annual Business and International Conference. Hundreds of exhibitors from all business sectors were at hand showcasing their services. There were representatives from local, city, state and federal agencies.

 

The morning panel The Role of Financial Institutions, Legal Mediation and Government in Small Business Success was moderated by Misty Burris, the founder of Oregon Institute for A Better Way and Director of Community System Navigators. It highlighted pressing issues but also in fostering a strong alliance geared towards relief, recovery, and future expansion.

It sparked a deep conversation about community commitment to collaborate for a more resilient and innovative future. The speakers successfully created an ecosystem of stakeholders who are now better aligned and invested in furthering the common goal of economic prosperity.
