On May 19th, the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce (GNYCC) celebrated World Trade Week at their annual Networking and Awards Reception. President and CEO of the GNYCC, Mark Jaffe, honored three individuals for their years of commitment and dedication to international trade, promoting the economy and creating jobs.

Ruthie Davis, founder and designer of RUTHIE DAVIS and a global fashion icon, was honored for her commitment to global exporting and creating jobs in the New York City area.

Dr. Roy Hastick, President and Founder of the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (CACCI), was honored for his 30+ years of support for Caribbean Trade. Since 1985, CACCI has been promoting, assisting and linking small businesses between the United States and The Caribbean.

Blayne Hirsch, Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of GNYCC, was honored for her dedicated efforts in assisting Greater New York Chamber Members export billions of dollars worth of goods and services overseas.
