Chamber Celebrates Black History Month

The Greater New York Chamber of Commerce (GNYCC) honored Legends of Black History at the Alhambra Ballroom in Harlem NY on February 26th, 2015. The annual event celebrates the efforts and work of legendary men and women who have profoundly affected their professions and society while inspiring countless individuals. This years honorees included: Stephanie Francis & William Tony Rogers: Co-Founders of HARLEM WEEK, Dr. Roy A. Hastick, Sr.: President of the Caribbean America Chamber of Commerce, Major General Joseph A. McNeil: a legendary civil rights leader and member of the Greensboro lunch counter four, Vera Moore: President of Vera Moore Cosmetics and Dr. Solomon Wallace: Past Grand Master Prince Hall Masons of NY. Barbara DeLaleu (also known as Roxie Digital) of Radio 103.9, Mark Jaffe: President and CEO of the GNYCC, and Mark Pollard: Past President and founding member of the GNYCC, served as Program Emcees and introduced the 2015 Black History Award Honorees.
