April 2014

Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney speaking at the Coffee House Club
Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney addresses members of the Greater NY Chamber at the Coffee House Club on Friday April 10th. The Club and the Chamber's offices are both located at 20 West 44th in the Congresswoman's District. The event was sponsored by Business & Labor Coalition of NY, the NYRX Card (www.NewYorkRXCard.com ) and Health Republic. In addition to her promotion of the 2nd Avenue subway; an increase in the federal minimum wage to $10.10 and the passage of a comprehensive Immigration law; the Congresswoman answered questions about how the Chamber and its members could get more involved in the political process. Mark Jaffe, the Chamber's CEO announced a cocktail reception would be held on April 29th to help raise awareness for the Chamber's Political Action Committee.
